We Love Pets, Just Like You…
We began cat sitting after putting our cats into a cattery. They hated being confined inside cages and they came back stressed and unhappy.
Chatting to friends and family we realised this was a common experience so we started caring for their pets while they were out of town. Word soon got out about our friendly, reliable service and we started getting enquiries from further afield.
Nice and Cuddly was born.
Allan and Darryl currently own 3 cats: a British Blue, a Ragdoll and a moggy. All 3 were rescued from Millstream Animal Shelter.
In 2020 we went to Australia to visit the Koala Hospital and adopt a Koala. Her name is Hockey Luna.

Allan
My name is Allan Grisdale and I run Nice and Cuddly with Darryl. I’m the friendly voice you’ll hear when you call our office.
I have been pet sitting since 2010 and love every second of it. I couldn’t imagine my life not being surrounded by furry friends, so I can’t wait to meet you and your pet family.
I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits, gerbils and goldfish.
Darryl
My name is Darryl Brown and I am the co-owner of Nice and Cuddly. I live in Manchester and I am active member of the Monton Village Community Association (MVCA).
I am mad about cats and their welfare. I love working with small animals (even the naughty ones) and I find pet sitting very rewarding. It’s my dream job.
I have owned cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, goldfish and tropical fish.
